Karting - Kids - Where/When etc

Looking for some info on getting our son in a kart.

He's only just turned 3 so plenty of time

Any useful sources of info, tips etc?

I took my son to Aviemore Kart Raceway (on the left as you arrive from Grantown side) as they have a kids karting track and super small electric karts for 3+. Next time i'm up and its not sub-zero temps-wise i'll take him out in the tandem kart and if he's still up for it then i'll start looking into buying a small petrol kart and taking him to Boyndie.
