Looking for some of that sticky film/wrap you see being used in the likes of LeMans.... used to hold together damaged panels and such like.
Anyone know the correct name for it, or suggest where to get it?
Had a quick squint on demontweeks but didn't see anything.

Surely it's just duct tape we need? The big sections will just be self adhesive vinyl, available on eBay and the likes. _________________ Motorsport Exige Project Thread |

i've just ordered a batch of tape, but though this would be more useful, certainly looks it from watching endurance race pitstops first hand _________________ Impreza Race Car, 1200kg, 480bhp - SLS/SMRC

Is it not the 3m vinyl car protection film? Plenty on ebay.
It can be applied wet, or dry, and a little heat makes it very sticky. _________________ R600 Dubaru

If it's for panel protection then can see why you would want the clear vinyl if it's to hold panels together etc after an off then th speed tape is the best option. |
