I'm getting geeky although still a technophobe. I also must be getting ambitious as this is really interesting. My sector 2-- the difficult bit is rubbish. I know one improvement that can gain 0.5 secs. I change gear up and down before Clark's and should stay in 3rd from McIntyres until Railway. Can't wait to try it

Needs to sort out transponder position to get the full data/sectors working though.

Round 5 Speed Trap vs Lap Time graphs.

Rule of thumb for reading these....

- Look at the jagged line on each plot (Blue on SPEED graph, Red for TIME graph)
- The faint dashed line shows a trend line - average if you like.
- If your data point is below the blue trend line for Time on the SPEED graph you are doing well. I.e low/good laptime for the speed reached by car.
- If your data point is below the red trend line for Speed on the TIME graph you are doing well. i.e good/fast lap time in relation to cars straight line speed.

You can also use the plots to suggest target times.

i.e if you know you can cross the speed trap at 100mph, you would expect a decent lap time in the region of ~60s (average).

As always... this is just a guide, and not a sure fire scientific formula to gauge performance.
