After my first track night with you guys i must thank those that organised it and i have to say it was great evening...And what a great bunch of folk and a very good class of drivers, both fast and sensible (do those two normally go together Laughing )
I must however apologise to anyone following me on a couple of occasions when i had accidentally hit the indicator button on my steering wheel and didn't realise it, those guys will have thought ''Why the hell is he indicating for me to overtake yet he's not pulling over!''...i didn't know i was indicating...sorry about that! It was my first time on track with that steering wheel and kept hitting the button when i had to catch the back end when it got a bit loose on the damp parts of the track.
Anyway, thanks again for a great night.

Pete

Your car sounded awesome out on track

Had fun tonight! Was in the Purple M4 which seemed to go a lot better in the dry than at the start of the night.

Sorry to anyone I dazzled with full beam too ... Shocked

Dude, seriously, I'm buying an M3/4 after seeing yours out last night, was an eye opener.

The mods you've done really take the car forward. How are you getting on the the JB4? Any hiccups so far?

Would have thought I'd have spotted you new purchase on Overclockers Very Happy

I've not been on OCUK so much recently (or many forums at all). The JB4 has been fine (touch wood) and makes around 520-530hp in that trim (decat & JB4). You can add ethanol to the fuel for a bit more go but I didn't notice much effect.

It's hard to say how the suspension has helped, mainly because I only ran it on standard suspension for around a week because of the horrid arch gap!

The main weak point the first time out were the brakes. I think BMW deliberately sabbotage the M2/M3/M4 brakes by way of shitty pads. I replaced them with Pagid RSL29 and decent fluid and they're great. I've done a few track days in Europe and Knockhill with no complaints. The Michelin Cup 2's undoubtedly help too.

All in all a great daily car which can also do some serious damage on track days in complete comfort. I really like it and the only thing I'd change is the engine tone I think.

Brilliant night, thanks again for organising!

Sorry to anyone I got in the way of in the piss yellow M3, especially the M4 and the Blue Clio who I had tankslappers in front of as I was trying to get out of the way Embarassed Hilariously terrible rear tyres meant pretty much no grip at all in the damp, sorry!

Really liked the mix of cars last night, cool to see a new Alfa Giulia out there Cool

Laughing captured my shame. The integra was going well when it was wet, I was slipping about behind you.
