I've added a couple of spaces to the shop to cover some pull outs, so there's three spaces left now.
Book here -

First reverse for me. was out on the Dreadnought one last night that resulted in a tow truck finish after the alternator packed in..It lasted about 3 months!

Should be sorted this week tho so plenty time for this.

Any reverse tips?

Hairpin - brake late for hairpin.... try not to run too wide on exit (downhill offcamber)

Clarks - If you can keep on the power as long as possible and brake fairly straight for Clarks. If you cant ..... straighten the curve out as much as poss then brake arrow straight for Clarks. Avoid the inside kerb, prob aim mid track for turn in and again try and not run too wide on the offcamber exit.

Chicane - hmmm... i'm still not sure on this one. I think a late turn in and POWER on all the way down and through butchers avoiding using too much kern on inside of butchers (you'll end up out of position)

McIntyres - Late late on the brakes as its uphill, dont try and get this corner too right as I feel positioning for Duffus may be worth more in laptime.

Duffus - balls. Flat out if you can Very Happy touch of left foot braking to balance perhaps..... if not a heathly lift to tuck the nose in then steady power over the top watching for the rear going light. Use ALL of the track on exit to reduce steering input.

Just glad the weather forecast is looking good, don't fancy trying to learn the reverse circuit in the wet Laughing

Just seen your reply above. Cheers Smile

Alternator is fixed and its now got a fresh MOT.

Track prep - last time out the brakes although still had plenty stopping the pedal feel wasn't the best. Since discovered that the rear caliper was moving slightly on the mount so ive replaced the slider bolts which has tightened it up a bit. Also pressure bled the brakes and put 500ml of RBF660 (replaced the old stuff with the same a few months ago) through to flush the system a bit. got a good bit of air and some horrid waxy looking stuff come out. Result being the pedal feel is now much improved.

Nothing like leaving it to the last minute...

On Monday, the Westie was sat lifeless, having not turned a wheel in over 8 months. New ECU wired and fitted, sensors all calibrated, clutch adjusted, engine serviced, nuts and bolts checked, fresh MOT received and we're ready to go! Hooray!
