Good to see the Caterham out again David and the continued development. Can't wait to see it go once the rev limit is increased Cool

I didn't find the track any slower in the class A final as I almost exactly equalled my previous best in reverse. Watching back on the vid that's with missing a gear under braking at hairpin and having to lift for a small slide at Duffus, so for my car at least I don't think the conditions in final made any difference (on R888R).

Without the mistakes it could have even been a PB for me into the 57's (in that car).
For a lightweight car that doesn't generate tyre temp so easily I can see that 1b to 1c it would help in those conditions, just not sure it would be 2-3 secs, maybe a bit under that though.

but I think the daft part of all of this is the MSA creating a 3rd tier of tires! I preferred when all the 1C tyres were included in 1B.

That was my point Adam not the SLS regs the MSA's changes and introduction of a 1C list which includes e marked Road tyres.

Speed Trap data from Round 1.

I think the wet weather seems to have had an effect on the S/F trap, as a lot of readings are missing from the wettest sessions. So, with that in mind its been sorted by S1 speed trap. Thats on the back straight after the hairpin, leading to clarks.

Geekety Geek.

Click the images to get full size bifters. Trend lines highlight folk going fast for the times, and low times for slow speeds (and vice versa)

However, those tyres on List 1C are no longer produced as "E" marked tyres as the do not meet the current requirements for "E" marking.
