Anyone doing this ?

Etiquette is much improved I'm told on all KH days & especially 4hr open pits so I'm considering booking this ahead of the TS day on Monday the 25th.

I'm not that fussed if it's wet or dry (prefer wet tbh) as I think I've got the twitchy (read snappy oversteer) under control thanks to a lighter/smoother throttle pedal & lots of tiny tweaks Smile

Who else fancies it?
Very Happy

I was planning on doing it but I'm still offshore and heading away again Monday so need to spend time with the wife and kids. Wanted to get some seat time to see if I've cured my horrific handling issues from the last SLS.

I'm booked up for this.

Represents decent bang for your buck IMO and 4 hour seems much less frantic than a 2 hour slot.

Looking forward to it Smile

Who says I will even catch you lol

Got a bit of a deal with AST suspension to supply a set of 3 way dampers for the Supercopa. They will be here today so plan to fit them and test them and get the car setup before next round of SLS

I managed to luck into a spot on this after turning up on the off chance. I was the one that looked really out of place with my 12yr old silver diesel Mondeo. Was my first track session and really enjoyed myself. I was very proud of how well the old girl performed and handled, shes no track car for sure but she behaved admirably and kept me safe.

Wonder if I met any of you there?

I didn't meet you but I did see you there - I was marshaling at the hairpin entry.

Looked like you were doing fine to me and I bet you had as much fun as the folk in the McLaren, the Ferrari race car etc etc.

I didn't make it in the end for various reasons.

I think you're just round from me as I'm near the Prison/Tesco Wink

Glad you had a good time Smile

Thanks, nice of you to say so. Suspect I had more fun than those guys as I had no expectations from my car, in fact it kept on impressing me the more laps I did!
a) she didnt break down!
b) no issues with understeer on corner entry (which I was concerned about), in fact was quite the opposite the turn in was great enabling me to hit most apexes once I worked out where they were.
c) Didnt boil the brakes
d) Out dragged quite a few cars up the main straight that I think expected to go sailing by me Laughing
