Are any other SLS racers doing the SIDC trackday thats on in the morning of round 2 of SLS?

Ive booked up for extra practice and to get confidence back in the car and test the new brakes.

Open pit 9am-1pm. Cool

I'm booked up for the SIDC track day but won't be doing SLS - car is set up to run slicks and and would take too much time and effort to get a B1 set up. Probably hang around to watch.

Getting some time in the seat and hopefully entering SMRC June meeting.

I run Dunlop slicks, 175/535/13 and 205/570/13.

The rears are a larger rolling radius than a B1, 205/60/13 which changes all my gearing.

Do you run the same tyres in SMRC and SLS?

Yeah I do. Ideally I'd run a soft tyre for SLS but it adds a lot on to the cost so just use the medium Kumho's for both.

The reason I run the slicks is cost. I'm 75 - 85 for a used set of slicks that last probably three or four 4hr open pit track days. The car is so light that it doesn't burn out tyres, provided you're not locking up and damaging them.
