Seemed a good day and good manners out on track when I was out Smile

Few folk getting a bit confuzled with the direction to move to let cars past early on.... understandable Laughing

I felt I was going at a snails pace with no grip. Was the track slippy in places on was it just me?

I found it pretty grippy.

The bumps are hellish in reverse though. I was lifting wheels all the time, need to soften it up a bit for next time.

I really loved & actually prefer reverse in the Clio but shat a brick 1st time out in the VW in reverse direction.
I think reverse needs a near wet set up V normal direction to cope with the bumps etc & give feel/lap time of normal direction, at least initially anyway.

Just my free 2p

Very Happy

I found plenty of grip but something odd was going on at Clarks and did think the the bumps are a bit more aggressive in the reverse direction. But a good evening, thanks Adam & Fee.

I found it quite slippy at first Adam.. Was weird.. The bumps are hellish on the back straight.

I was all over the place.. Scary when you have to brake for clarks..

I had great fun following you Mark! Set my fastest lap when I was following you..

I think the susp was maybe a bit hard on mine too, but it only really felt an issue on Clarks and braking for the chicane.

Will check lap times etc... Saw a 57 at one point

I desperately need new suspension.. Standard KW's are far top soft floating all over the track.

You were going well.. Am sure got a good video of you and Fiona.. Just hoping go pro was recording

interesting you say that as on Wednesday (I was going right way round) it was a total mare. I just presumed was tyres and how cold/damp it was... Could make SMRC very interesting

First time doing reverse circuit, got easier as night progressed although found it quite bumpy. Amazed at how fast some of the cars were. Good driving by everyone, thoroughly enjoyed the night...got a stone stuck in my brake disc at the start of the session though...hitting the caliper and sounded like the wheel was ready to fall off! Thanks to Adam and Fee for organizing.... Smile

Had a great time, thanks Fee and Adam. Always depend on you to beach yourself at some point, Adam Razz

I think there's a big crack in the tarmac where it meets the kerbing at Clarks. Tried to grab my front right a couple of times.
You'd expect the front left to get grabby under braking, not the other way.
I found Clarks ok, TBH, although it's not fun at all if it's busy on the track as people take it at wildly different speeds and you don't wanna have to brake any harder on that corner.
It's one of the hardest corners I know.
Tightening right after fast straight with off camber left turn? Recipe for disaster, as Fee certainly knows!

I had a couple of scary no-brakes moments as usual, but heading for the hairpin, so not welcome.
It's not so bad in the other direction cos you can always turn up the hill and twang the handbrake to get round.
But in reverse there's not that option.
And that's with my extra brake cooling ducts installed.

Was most impressed with the speed of the Merc AMG. He was as fast as me in a straight line, which isn't THAT fast, but still, I couldn't beat him in a drag race.
And the wee red golf - mate that really is a flying machine for a wee GTI. I meant to dive under your bonnet for a look-see but time just got tight. Next time!

Shame about all the red flags in the second hour. But great that the rain all passed us by.

Ill pop up some vid form my new gopro, tonight.
