From an outside perspective.... how would you structure the seriers?

Currently there is Pro Class, Club Class F/I, Club Class N/A

Would merging F/I and N/A be fair? Is classing all variations of drive train fair? There seem to be a fair amount of semi-pro or tuner cars running in Club (guys with full on pit crews etc).

Any ideas?

IMO, if you run open specs, you need to bracket race (i.e. "cars running 1m25s to 1m30s, cars running 1m30s to 1m35s etc)...

Other option is to define car specs, but I can't see that working for TA either...

The current system isn't too bad, except for a couple of club class guys who know they should be in pro class Wink

First thing I would split up is Owner Drivers V's Pro Drivers

But that's mainly in the Pro Class.

In the Club Class, any car with major company backing (Kev from Scoobyclinic, etc) should be in a seperate class or moved up to Pro.

Does Kev get a lot of backing?

I always thought he was a bit less backed than some, but just a better driver Smile

You could be right, I've only seen Time Attack up close at knockhill, and the Motors TV program is pretty rubbish. Good idea just poorly put together.

Kev was just an example, but you get the idea.
