It's not open pit lane, groups/sessions at 10 laps or something a time and arguabley a bit more rowdy.

Everyone ( well 90% ) of the people think or believe they are race drivers. I've seen a few vids on YouTube which completely put me off those events. The driving is in one word, MENTAL.

yup... its normally 15min sessions so you'll get 7hr (1hr of lunch) total time, but only allowed on track for aprox 15mins in every hour if there are 4 groups.

potential 60 for 1hr 45m of track time.

Big downside for sessioned days (in my opinion) is the fact you cant really tinker and test.... everyone is just out to go as fast as they can in their alloted 15mins - which makes it a bit of a rammy

Got to say I really enjoy the hot hatch days, not as bad as they used to be now as same track rules as ts days, overtake on left on straights only, idiot driving not tolerated. As adam said not to good to test things on car but still good fun. Do have to be a bit more 'on the ball' but overall they are far better that they used to be.

Ps - opinion may change after 2moro lol

Might have a crack at it, before we move back down south.

Less wear on the car (provided some knobhead doesnt drive into me), ideal for a shakeout.

Had a really good day today, weather was brill and track was wonderful. Some darned impressive quick cars there, my wee XR2 was struggling on the straights, but oh what fun!
Had 8 x 10 minute sessions and to me that's a bit of a bargain.

Can't wait for the racing on 8th April Very Happy

And that Fiesta PMD just wow, (although you really had to look closely to realise that it was a Fiesta, lol) was outstanding. Sequential box and I think only the Porsche Turbo and perhaps one of the madly modified Evo's seemed quicker.

Did you drive it or just a passenger?

My buddy timed me at 67.** in the green beasty, I'll need to knock a couple of seconds of that to be anywhere near competative I was told.

Ian Cowie's comments on my driving where "Well Struan, It looked like you were going on a shopping trip to ASDA" the bugger! Smile

Russ the car was mega today, youve done a great jobwith the setting up on the car mate

we worked on it Thursday , Friday and saturday between us all to have it ready for Knockhill today , and it was well worth it

John went out in the car first thing on the race map, and when i arrived around 9:30 am he had done a session already and his very words where " its too fast on the race map" , I thought he was joking, and asked to go round in the car on the race map, and after 3 laps i was wishing i hadnt Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

The car is mega mate, and we had a great day, and it drove on the trailer with absolutely no dramas all day

Johns recorded all the sessions on video, so hopefully hes uploading as we type Laughing
