Well looking forward to this one now that I now it's going to be dry.

Seems a lot busier than previous ones.

What's the change, weekend night, posting on more forums?

I think a decent part of it is that myself and a friends tracknight failed,so we upped the numbers by 7.

Apart from that i dont know! lol

Its on a weekend....that's the main difference.
It was the same last year
Unfortunately though we cannot book more weekend evening sessions as Knockhill don't have the staff to cover them.

We've got about 13 reserves now and I seem to be getting regular emails asking for spaces

Fee are you giving passanger laps again for trekscotland donations?
I'd like you to scare the bejesus out of Mrs C. Twisted Evil Laughing

likewise if anyone else can do it Wink

My old MR2 has scare factor limitations.
Mainly folks are only scared it will self destruct going down Duffus or at the speed folks pass us Embarassed Laughing

Maybe knockhill have to get their priorities right then as a business and cater for their customers when they want the event and not the other way round.

If all midweek track evenings suffer from poor turnouts and weekend evenings sell out with 13 reserves what does this tell you!

See you all tonight for some track fun.

Well after sticking in some crazy hours today to get the car to a driveable state I am gutted to be stopped by a bloody electrical gremlin. The car doesn't appear to be charging while running which is obviously not very useful. I can't see whats causing the issue and don't have the time to sort it today but i'll have it done for the Ingliston day. Really gutted to miss this. Sad

Hope you all have an awesome time. Plenty of pics and vids please! Very Happy

I enjoyed my 10 minutes.

2nd time I went out there had been a red flag so everyone was queueing in the pit lane to go out. Eventually we went out - accelerated through the gears but got to the top of duffus and the throttle stopped responding properly then the engine cut out so I coasted and parked it off at the chicane.

KH marshalls asked if we could leave it there till half 7. This was at about 7.10-7.15. Fair doo's it wouldn't have been good to do a red flag just after a red flag but it meant I didn't get a chance to sort the car and see if I could get back out. Sad

Seems like a crank sensor /wiring problem again as ecu isnt getting a sync with the flywheel. So strange it seemed perfect since fitting the Zetec crank sensor.

A fantastic & action packed evening !

Managed to knock 2.5 secs (according to iphone stopwatch) of my previous best. Mainly due to having front shocks with oil in them, new stut tops to stop it pulling left & right + decent rear tyre the correct size.

1.10.36 Very Happy

Alternator/wiring problem returned so low charge & coolant res cap blew off leaving pit lane after cheq flag Embarassed but drifter dude towed me with his Qpod thingy we added water & got home!

Mrs C didn't pluck up the courage to ask Fee for a passanger lap.
With tech issues, red flags & friends up to watch/chat etc I didn't really get to speak to anyone apart from the guys in the yellow MR2 & dude in the blue MX5.

It's true, stickers make you faster, & we have loads lol

Looking forward to the 4th at Ingliston & 15th sept.

cheers
