We are running a track afternoon on Thursday 21st July 2011.

We are using this trackday as a fundraising event for 'TrekScotland' with a raffle and donations for additional drivers and passengers
See here for more details - http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/trekscotland/index.htm

TRACKDAY
* 6-8pm
* Open Pit lane 2 hour session from 6-8pm
* £70 per CAR
Tickets for the 2 hour session can be ordered via
Track Scotland Shop

The Online Booking uses PayPal ONLY, so you can only use Credit/Debit Cards VIA PAYPAL FUNDING OPTIONS. If you would prefer not to use PayPal, cheques or bank transfer will be fine. Email for details. fee@trackscotland.co.uk

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS
For this trackday, and the rest of our trackdays this year, we will be asking for donations from additional drivers and passengers to go towards our fundraising efforts for TrekScotland.
We would suggest a £10 donation for additional drivers and an open donation for passengers, to be given at sign on. I will be there to badger you!

RAFFLE
Tickets are £10 each and can be bought through the online shop.

----> BUY A RAFFLE TICKET HERE <----

Once you have bought your ticket(s) you will be emailed with an order confirmation number - this is your raffle ticket number

All raffle ticket numbers will be put into a hat and picked at random.

Multiple raffle tickets can be bought under the same order number, we will simply put more than one of the order number into the hat.

PRIZES

First Prize - Free TrackScotland Trackdays for 2012
The prize allows the winner to attend all TrackScotland dates organised at Knockhill in 2012 with ONE car free of charge.
The prize is not transferable and can only be used by the winner on trackdays in 2012.

Second Prize - Passenger Laps with Gordon Shedden
We are offering one lucky winner the chance to win a hot lap with Honda’s British Touring Car Driver Gordon Shedden. Gordon will whizz the winner around the track in his Honda Civic.
We are hopeful that this will be able to happen on the day of the trackday but unfortunately Gordon cannot 100% confirm his availability until nearer the time. If he cannot attend on the day, the passenger laps will be arranged for a mutually suitable time.

Third Prize - TrackScotland embroidered shirt!
The third winner will receive a lovely black shirt with TrackScotland embroidered logo and name Smile

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch Smile

1 other thing I'm considering doing is auctioning off passenger lap with folk.

That in turn brings up the question - Who would you like to have a passenger laps with? Once we know that we can try and set something up Smile

Who has the new GTR? Or the Caterham R400 (for that open top experience).

Trackday looks good- hoping to get along to this Very Happy .

Not to grumble, but if I bring 3 additional drivers (as I usually do) to make the day more affordable do they each need to spring additional monies?

It always worked out well just splitting the trackday and fuel costs before.

P.S I have no objection to making a a donation, but may not be able to come if others cannot afford to split it with me?

I'm hoping I'm not causing offence by asking this- just the previous format was what made it possible for myself and others to take part in your well organised days.

Thanks

Neil Very Happy

Neil - We normally run additional drivers 'free' as we have enough bookings to cover the hire costs.

As normal i'll keep everything transparent. We lost a lot of money on the all day session and a couple of hundred on the 1st June session. Even if we take out the charity giving we'd prob still need to think about adding a small charge for additional drivers. £10 is still very cheap for this. Another bizzare fact for you... KH hire cost for 4hrs (4pm to 8pm) is actually more than double the 2hr hire cost confuzled

Having multipe drivers of the same car = more cars on track at one time (if the car isnt as idle as when used by 1 person).

Craig - Kids - if they fit in the seat and are secured by belt/harnesses AND the gaurdian & driver is happy Thumbs Up

I could bring the R35. That might drum up some interest.

We are one of the few trackdays that don't charge for additional drivers.
GMSC charge £10 per additional driver, KH charge £30 for the car tracknights.
SIDC did in the past take donations for Santa Cruise for passengers, I don't think they do any more, but could be wrong

The only reason we are doing it just now is for fundraising. If there is 3 of you doing the 4 hour session, it's only an extra £7 each....so not breaking the bank

Hi Fee, Thanks for the frank answers!

Dont worry We'll still be booking on regularly, and having had a look at the trek Scotland section- seems a damn worthy cause!

Hope I didnt cause any offence, and apologies if I did.

Ta,

Neil

Adam/Fee

Looks like I've got the day off so I'll book soon Very Happy . If there are people looking for R400 charity laps, I'll be only too happy to oblige. I could rig the second Video Vbox camera to look at the pax.
