there is a car for sale on race cars direct atm http://www.racecarsdirect.com/listing/35388/Abarth_500_Trofeo_Race_Car_Ben_Winrow.html 23 bags for the car, you must be looking at 50k plus for a season

adam, I would suggest doing a season in a smaller club series to build up race pace and technique as IIRC all Fee has dont is TA/sprints. you can do a full season in SMRC Xr2's and have change from 15k and you will learn a lot about racing from the nutjobs in that or do the SMRC minis a good car is only 6ktops and running costs arent high plus you can do arrive and drive with Minimax and team Sleigh racing

Plus VAT, that is quite pricey - On the plus side there's loads of choice of what and where to race Cool

Dunc.

i wouldnt bother with it, the cars are horrendous to drive and have a thing for rolling. the grids have been poor as well.

you'd be cheaper getting a 1 off drive in our series. our grids are around 25 - 30 this season

edit.

the best idea would be to sample the scottish series as its about a fifth of the price.

alan - iirc none of the cars have sold for 6k

Have heard somewhere round that figure quoted for a season.. to me even though the Clio's are a good bit dearer you probably get 10x the value from them.

what do you reckon Laughing Laughing clios are actually quite cheap to race it is the damage that costs, plus this year former ginetta jnr banger racer Chris Swanwick is in clios (thats the clown that caused a pileup under sc at sillystone last year)

joking aside clios is one series I wouldnt even consider racing even with a lotto win
