as some of you may know a 3 strike rule exists in TimeAttack.

If you set a time within 5% of the winning (quickest) time from the class above - you get a Strike.

Get 3 strikes and you move up a class.

Here are the folk in 'danger' after 2 rounds of Club Class. Laughing

Quote:
Hi guys,

Just wanted to advise you that after Knockhill the following drivers are now on the second strike of the allowed three:
· Steve Linton
· Jamie Willson

The drivers below are on the first strike of three:
· Scott Robson
· Fiona Kindness
· Paul Whiffin

Please remember it is a requisite of entering this year’s Club Challenge Class that if you hit the three strikes you will have to move into the Club Pro Class for the remainder of the season, if you do move across then you will carry across any trophies you have received from CC and your lap times from CC will then be your finishing positions in CP and the points table in CP will be adjusted to take into account your points, you will not receive any CP trophies for your finishing positions in these past events.

You now need to be aware that you ensure that your vehicle and yourself are ready to enter the Club Pro Class should this become a reality.

Please note the following also applies:
1. If any drivers reach the third hit at the final round at Snetterton they will be promoted to Club Pro Class in 2011 and will not relinquish their 2010 standings.
2. If the weather conditions vary between the Club Challenge and Club Pro Superbattle Finals then the 5% ruling is voided, the weather conditions are deemed final by the TA Clerk of the Course (Mr. Alec Short) and his decision is final, this is not to say you cannot appeal but the weather is logged for every session by Alec, as well as TSL Timing, and is signed off at the end of the event by the Clerk of the Course and the TA/MSA Stewards - this is to ensure a record is kept of each session and that fairness prevails for all.
3. Times achieved by OHW drivers in Club Pro Class do not count towards your 5% rule.

Whatevere happens I think Fee will be going flat out Very Happy she's sitting her ARDS this week coming so it would only be the cage/extinguisher and cut off that would be an issue.

Luckily there is a big gap between cadwell and snetterton so I should have time to get a cage fitted if I need to
