SuperLapScotland will be having an openday alongside our first TrackScotland trackday of the year

Quote:
TrackScotland are pleased to announce that there will be a Super Lap Scotland open-day held alongside our March 3rd trackday.

Where: Knockhill Racing Circuit - Scrutineering Bay/Garage
When: March 3rd 1300-1700
Cost: Free entry (not the trackday!)

If you are interested in competing in SLS and would like more info or some feedback and an inspection of your car from championship scrutineers, please come along.

Here's what you can expect from this event:

- Mock scrutineering sessions with a car weighing service and advice on car eligibility.
- Advice on how much overall costs, equipment and licencing.
- Pick up your 2018 SLS Start Up Pack.

Please contact Rory Butcher for further information:
rory@superlapscotland.co.uk

Alternatively, if you are just curios and think the series could be of interest - come see what its all about Smile

I'm sure Rory will have a pot of coffee

I'm afraid you've got no chance of me being there on 25th March as its Katharine's Birthday and we've got a table booked for lunch at The Newport. Should be there on 3rd though.

you still need people (Renny/Gordon as far as I know) to come along and facilitate that.

You'll need to get a power run done, and RA can/will weigh you Smile

Yeah thatís the last Iíd seen it - being used as a rally car with tbís.

That car looks very close but it looks really tidy. Different cage and gussets on the a pillars. Will need to take a look at SLS.

Is there a class for SLS that you can use fairly standard cars without a cage? Iíd seen a video from Knockhill with an Audi road car.

Yeah there is the road car class that doesnít require a cage. I canít remeber the ins and outs of it tbh, itís all in the sls starter pack.

I think Scott has sold the car now so it wonít be taking part in sls as far as Iím aware

Road Cars....

There is no 'Road Car Class'....

There are power to weight classes (wheel HP vs car weight as raced (driver etc)

Pro: Unlimited
A: 350-450
B: 270-350
C: 210-270
D: 160-210
E: 136-160
F: <135

You CAN use a road car (as long as it meets S11 Regs in Blue Book... interior in place essentially, no engine swaps, no solid bushing/rosejoints unless OE) without a rollcage.

The IS a bonus Road Car Championship that is only eligible for road going cars
